The only game of Tuesday in Alps Hockey League was a spectacular offensive show, even if the first period started slow. The hosts of Feldkirch created more chances in the first period. But the first goal was scored by Marco Sanna for Cortina in powerplay after ten minutes. The guests also started the second period efficiently. Francesco Adami doubled the lead in the 25th minute. After that Feldkirch was shaken up and shifted into a higher gear. The hosts scored four goals within eight minutes and turned the game.  Wiedmaier scored right after the second goal of Cortina, before Birnstill succeeded with the equalizer. Kyllönen and Stanley brought the lead with two goal within 16 seconds. The third period started like the second ended. Diethard Winzig, Kyllönen and Birnstill increased quickly to 7:2 and brought the supposed decision. But Cortina fought back in an impressive way.
