The regular season is on the home stretch and the battle for the remaining playoff tickets is getting closer and closer. There are only six points between the sevenths and the 12th place. For these six teams the playoffs already started now. Single points can already decide between playoffs or end of season.

The FBI VEU Feldkirch is currently on the fifths place with good chances for place four. They are trailing only by one point to the top-4 with two games more on the schedule. HC Neumarkt is currently on the fifteenths place and is looking for some successes at the end of the season. Feldkirch won the first battle of the season with one goal difference. Stefan Wiedmaier scored the decisive goal.
HK SZ Olimpija - Red Bull Hockey Juniors 19:15

Ljubljana is still on a good track for qualifying for the playoffs, but also the Red Bull Hockey Juniors still have in their hands. Currently they are below the red line, but still have at least five games more on the schedule. These two teams already battled three times this season, the home team won every single game. The Juniors won three out of the past four games, Ljubljana lost three consecutive games.
EK Zeller Eisbären - HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice 19:30

Zell am See is still in the battle for the playoffs. They won the past three games and are currently trailing by four points to the eights place. Jesenice already qualified and aims to narrow the gap to the first two teams. It’s the first duel of the season between these two teams. Already a few days later the return match is on the schedule.
EC Bregenzerwald - EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau 19:30

The EC Bregenzerwald is currently the first team above the red line, but they only have an advantage of one point to the first team below the line. Also Lustenau is only trailing by five points. With a success against Bregenzerwald they would make the race for the last playoff tickets even more exciting. Both teams won their past game against Fassa The teams already had three duels so far, two times Bregenzerwald booked the win, Lustenau won the past game.

The Rittner Buam lost it’s number one position recently against Asiago. Now they aim to keep the distance close and to recapture the lead as soon they receive the next possibility. Pustertal is currently on the fourth place and they are on a good way to qualify for the playoffs, even though they lost their past three games. Pustertalt celebrated already one win against Ritten this season, but lost to further duels.
HC Gherdeina valgardena.it - EC 'Die Adler' Stadtwerke Kitzbühel 20:30

It’s a duel of two teams who already lost the contact to battling teams for playoffs. Gherdeina lost six of it’s past eight games and also Kitzbühel is struggling with four defeats in the past five games. Recently Kitzbühel celebrated a success against KAC.Kitzbühel decided the first duel with 3:2.
HC Fassa Falcons - WSV Sterzing Broncos Weihenstephan 20:30

The WSV Sterzin Broncos still have two points advantage to the first place below the red line. Every single point can decide now between playoffs and early season end. The Falcons are out of the range. The Falcons aim to book some successes in the last round to celebrate a conciliatory end of the season. But there are still seven games more to go. Sterzing celebrate a clear 8:1 success in the first duel of this season.

On Sunday the first team is playing against the basement team. Asiago aims to defend the leading position till 40 rounds are played. The KAC will try the best to capture some further points in the final part of the season.
