  • EC-KAC is 3-1 ahead in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League's "best-of-7" final series against HCB Südtirol Alperia and has a chance to win the title on Tuesday.
  • Klagenfurt would triumph for the sixth time since the league's inception and also defend the title for the first time. (2001, 2004, 2009, 2013, 2019)
  • Bolzano would lose a final series for the first time since joining the league (2013/14) if they lose. In their premiere season and 2017/18, the "Foxes" won the title in each case.
  • HCB will play its ninth "elimination game" (games in which a loss means the end of the season) on Tuesday, so far it has won four of them.
  • The KAC has been ahead 3:1 in "best-of-7" series ten times so far, each time also winning afterwards. Except for the 1997 semifinal against Villach (final score: 4:2), the "Rotjacken" always closed the series in game five.
  • Game four on Sunday was won by the EC-KAC with a powerplay goal by Blaz Gregorc with 2:1 after overtime.
  • The KAC continues to hold at a strong powerplay in the postseason of 24.1%
  • Out of 14 games in the current playoffs, the KAC has won eleven.
  • HCB won 24 of its 32 home games. The last one on Friday without conceding a goal with 2:0.
  • The “Rotjacken” won 20 of their 30 road games this season.
  • Bolzano will probably be missing Karl Stollery and Marco Insam again.
  • The KAC will have to play without David Fischer, Paul Postma and Dennis Sticha in game five of the final series. Thomas Vallant is questionable.
