Standings in the “best-of-7” series: 2:2
In a spectacular fourth final game, the EC Red Bull Salzburg won 6:5/OT at home. Troy Bourke scored the game-winner in the 82nd minute. The Canadian, who together with Thomas Raffl is the RBS playoff top scorer (15 points), had already tied the game 5:5 in the 54th minute. It was the second win after overtime for the Red Bulls in the current series. The EC-KAC won the other two games 4:2 and 5:2.

The KAC had a 2:2 in the series 14 times in its club history (in "best-of-7" duels), seven of which ended positively from the KAC point of view. In six of the nine Playoff series series against the Red Bulls so far, the score has also been 2:2 at one point, with the KAC taking game five five times. Salzburg has won the fifth game in thirteen of the 20 series in which the score was tied 2:2 after four games.
