15:30 | Steinbach Black Wings Linz vs. FTC-Telekom
Just two days after their 4:1 win over the Vienna Capitals, the Steinbach Black Wings Linz welcome Ferencváros Budapest on Friday. It’s the second head-to-head meeting of the season – the first went narrowly to the Hungarians on home ice. Since then, the league newcomer has dropped five straight, including three in overtime or shootout. Despite that streak, Ferencváros sits in eighth place with 20 points from 15 games – two ahead of Linz, who are currently in tenth. The Upper Austrians will ice the same lineup as in their win against the Capitals. For the visitors, Braeden Shaw (11 goals, 9 assists) and Tyler Coulter (5 goals, 10 assists) lead the team in scoring and are key pieces in their offensive setup.

16:00 | Pioneers Vorarlberg vs. EC-KAC
EC-KAC travel to Vorarlberg full of confidence. The Klagenfurt side collected eight wins in nine games during October and currently sit fourth in the standings with 22 points from a possible 27 – five behind league leaders Ljubljana. With a goals-against average of 2.36 and improved offensive production, the Red Jackets are among the hottest teams in the league. They’ll also look to extend their current run of six consecutive road wins.

The Pioneers Vorarlberg celebrated their third win of the season on Wednesday with a 3:2 overtime victory over reigning champion Salzburg but remain at the bottom of the table. Head coach Johannes Nygård’s team is still searching for consistency on offense: with an average of just 1.87 goals per game and a power play operating at 8.9 percent, the Pioneers hold the league’s lowest offensive numbers. The historical record clearly favors KAC, who have won their last six games in Feldkirch.

17:30 | Vienna Capitals vs. EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV
In their final game before the international break, the Vienna Capitals host EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV. A home win would move the Capitals within one point of the seventh-place Villach side. After suffering their first loss under interim coach Fabian Scholz on Friday in Linz, the Capitals had previously recorded two straight wins. Jérémy Grégoire has scored in each of his three games so far, while captain Linden Vey and Mitch Hults continue to produce consistently. Vienna’s special teams remain among the best in the league, ranking third in both categories.

VSV recently fell 1:2 in Innsbruck and have now lost three of their last four games. With 22 points from 14 outings, Villach sits seventh in the standings. Top scorers Nikita Scherbak and Kevin Hancock each have 14 points, with Hancock also scoring six goals. The Carinthians have struggled on the penalty kill lately, which ranks last in the league at just 66.7 percent.

18:00 | HCB Südtirol Alperia vs. Moser Medical Graz99ers
Following their spectacular 9:1 derby victory, HCB Südtirol Alperia are set for another home-ice showdown on Sunday. The Foxes want to carry that momentum into the matchup with the Moser Medical Graz99ers. It was their fourth win in the last five games, lifting them to third place in the standings. New signing Cole Schneiter has been a standout early in the season, collecting eight goals and ten assists so far.

The Moser Medical Graz99ers have gone 2–1 since parting ways with head coach Harry Lange. Under interim coach Philipp Pinter, their only loss came against Pustertal, while their most recent outing ended in a 4:3 overtime win over FTC-Telekom. In the standings, the Styrians sit just two points behind the Foxes – meaning a full three points on Sunday could see them enter the international break ahead of Bozen.

18:00 | HC Falkensteiner Pustertal vs. Hydro Fehérvár AV19
HC Falkensteiner Pustertal will look to quickly bounce back from their heavy derby defeat against Bozen and return to their previous form. League leaders Ljubljana sit only one point ahead of the Wolves (before Saturday’s game), who had won five straight prior to Friday’s loss. In their first meeting of the season, Pustertal claimed a 3:1 victory in Fehérvár.

The Hungarians have since made a coaching change. After a sluggish start, David Kiss was replaced by interim coach Tyler Dietrich, who will make his head coaching debut for Fehérvár. A detailed interview with Dietrich, conducted before the start of the season, can be found here.
