The race to #glaubandich Young Star of the season 19-20 is on. Voting closes Thursday night. With two players each of EC Red Bull Salzburg and Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and one of EC-KAC and EC Panaceo VSV, the six Young Stars of the Month are eligible for the award.

Six players are up for election for the #glaubandich Young Star of the season 19-20 award. From the previous monthly winners, fans, national team coaches and experts from TV partners Servus Hockey Night and Sky Sport Austria will now vote for the annual winner - their votes count for one third each, in case of a tie the better ranking from the fan voting will decide the winner of the year.

The following six players are available for selection.

DANIEL OBERSTEINER (EC-KAC) | #glaubandich Young Star September
The 22-year-old could seamlessly continue his strong previous season - he played all playoff games for the EC-KAC and also scored his first goal. Already at the beginning of the season and there also in the Champions Hockey League (2G | 1A) the talent showed great promise. The forward made 46 appearances in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga season 19-20, scored six goals and had ten assists. Obersteiner was also recently selected for the Austrian national team.

DONAT SZITA (Hydro Fehérvár AV19) | #glaubandich Young Star October
Donát Szita, who is also 22 years old, has established himself as a pillar of the Hydro Fehérvár AV19 team - especially in the penalty killing. With a total of 17 points (8G | 9A) the right wing played his best season in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga so far. After having supported all junior national teams of his country in the past, he is now also a permanent member of the men's team of the Hungarians.

AKOS MIHALY (Hydro Fehérvár AV19) | #glaubandich Young Star November
The 20-year-old Ákos Mihály is another rising talent at Hydro Fehérvár AV19. At the end of October, he was fielded for the first time in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga - in November against Salzburg he already scored his first brace. This year, the striker played a total of 25 games for the Hungarians, scored six points and was also called up for the national team.

LUKAS SCHREIER (EC Red Bull Salzburg) | #glaubandich Young Star December
20-year-old Lukas Schreier has reached a fixed place in the squad of the EC Red Bull Salzburg this season - not only because of a strong December. The defender played 38 games for the Red Bulls and recorded his first three assists in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. He was also called up for the first time to play for the senior national team.

PAUL HUBER (EC Red Bull Salzburg) | #glaubandich Young Star January
With Paul Huber the EC Red Bull Salzburg has another talent in the race for the title Young Star of the Year. The 19-year-old striker made his debut for Salzburg on December, 26th and scored his first goal in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga against Innsbruck on January, 5th. Huber, who also sensationally made it into the top group with the Austrian U20 national team, scored two goals and four assists this season.

BENJAMIN LANZINGER (EC Panaceo VSV) | #glaubandich Young Star February
Benjamin Lanzinger started the season with the cooperation club Zell am See in the Alps Hockey League, where he scored a total of 31 points (15G | 16A) in 31 games. The winger was also a member of Austria's U20 squad, which made it to the top division in December. From January onwards, the 20-year-old was mostly strengthen the VSV in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. In 14 games he scored one goal and one assist.
