Graz vs. Pioneers
For the second time, a "Frühsoppen" game is being held at Merkur Eisstadion for a win2day ICE Hockey League match. The band "Die Lauser" will perform in front of the stadium, and brunch starts at 11:00 a.m. The game between the Graz99ers and the Pioneers will begin at 12:00 p.m. Fans dressed in traditional Austrian attire can get 50% off tickets at the box office. The Moser Medical Graz99ers have struggled to keep up their top form from the start of the season. The team from Styria, which just weeks ago led the standings, has lost six of its last nine games and slipped away from the top duo. The Grazers only have a slightly better record over the same period than last-place Pioneers Vorarlberg. This is their first head-to-head this season, and last season's matchup saw each team winning two games apiece.

Pustertal vs. Salzburg
The EC Red Bull Salzburg hits the road this Sunday for a win2day ICE Hockey League game against the HC Pustertal Wölfe in Bruneck. It’s the last game before the international break, during which six Salzburg players will join the Austrian national team at the Deutschland Cup in Landshut. This third face-off against the Pustertal Wolves will be the first time Salzburg meets them on the road this season. The previous games in Salzburg ended in a 7-3 win for the Red Bulls and a 7-6 shootout victory for the Wolves. HC Pustertal currently sits sixth in the standings and is aiming to close in on the top third, following a narrow 2-4 loss to league leaders Bozen. The Red Bulls, ranked fifth, are looking to recover from yesterday's 2-3 home loss to Villach and head into the break with a win. The game at the Intercable Arena in Bruneck, with its 3,100-seat capacity, promises an intense atmosphere. Captain Thomas Raffl will play his 700th league game for Salzburg in this matchup. The 38-year-old has scored 280 goals and provided 335 assists for the team, recently reaching his 700th league point.

Vienna vs. Linz
The spusu Vienna Capitals face the Steinbach Black Wings Linz at the STEFFL Arena on Sunday for "Ladies Night," where female fans can get discounted tickets. This game before the international break brings together two win2day ICE Hockey League table neighbors. Both teams currently have 16 points, though Linz has played three fewer games. The Capitals are coming off a loss to EC-KAC, where they blew a 2-0 lead to lose 3-5. Vienna has struggled with finishing and has a weak power play (12.5% success rate), placing them last in the league in this category. The team is also missing several key players due to injuries and personal reasons. The Black Wings Linz recently defeated the Graz99ers in a shootout, securing their second consecutive win. Linz also struggles on the power play, with an 8.6% success rate. They’ve shown mixed form this season, with inconsistent goaltending—both goalies have save percentages below 90%.

Villach vs. Asiago
The EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV will host Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey on Sunday. Villach achieved a much-needed boost on Friday. After a disappointing start to the season, where the team even found itself at the bottom of the table, they secured a victory against EC Red Bull Salzburg on Friday following an overtime win against KAC. This allowed them to jump to 11th place, inching closer to the mid-table. Migross Supermercati Asiago, currently part of this mid-tier, has been making headlines by beating "Big Teams" this season, already claiming victories over Bozen, Salzburg, and twice against Graz. Only Fehérvár recently proved to be a tough challenge for the Yellow-Reds.
