The Steinbach Black Wings Linz, EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV, and HC TIWAG Innsbruck will kick things off on Tuesday. Linz will host Slovakian club HKM Zvolen. Villach and Innsbruck will face opponents from the Alps Hockey League: while VSV will play against Croatian team KHL Sisak, the Tyroleans will visit reigning AHL champions EK Die Zeller Eisbären.

On Wednesday, FTC-Telekom will face the University of Saskatchewan from Canada – this will also be the Hungarians' last test game before they start their debut season in the win2day ICE Hockey League. In addition, CHL participant HCB Südtirol Alperia will be guests at AHL club HC Meran/o Pircher. The Bolzano team will play this game between demanding Champions Hockey League tasks. Last week, they started the campaign with one win and one loss. This week, the “Foxes” will play twice again (Friday and Sunday) in the CHL.

There will also be a preseason game on Thursday, when Olimpija Ljubljana hosts Starbulls Rosenheim.

Four test matches are scheduled for Friday. Hydro Fehérvár AV19 will conclude its preseason against HC MONACObet Banská Bystrica. The Pioneers Vorarlberg will face the Eispiraten Crimmitschau in their final test at home. HC Falkensteiner Pustertal will also play a final home game against the AHL team Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan. Linz will play its last test match away against the Augsburger Panther.

Innsbruck is the only team to play twice this weekend. The “Sharks” will take part in the Hannsjörg Brunner Memorial in Merano, where they will first face HC Asiago, who will be playing in the Alps Hockey League next season, on Saturday. On Sunday, EV Landshut awaits.

On Saturday, the Moser Medical Graz99ers will also conclude their preparations in an internal league duel with Olimpija Ljubljana. Villach will face the Starbulls Rosenheim in their final game, while the Vienna Capitals will play their last test match at their partner club EK Die Zeller Eisbären.
