Fines imposed on Sisak and Asiago

The Alps Hockey League Justice Commission has imposed fines on KHL Sisak and HC Migross Asiago. All incidents occurred during their direct matchup on March 3 in Sisak. Both head coaches were sanctioned for insulting and threatening the opposing head coach. Josh Siembida, Head Coach of Sisak, received a fine of EUR 2,000, while his counterpart John Parco of Asiago was fined EUR 500. In addition, KHL Sisak was fined EUR 1,000 after verbally abusing the game officials during the game. Half of each fine must be paid immediately, while the remaining half is suspended and placed on probation.

The Alps Hockey League Justice Commission has imposed the following sanctions on KHL Sisak:

1. Fine for insulting the game officials
A fine of EUR 1,000 is imposed on KHL Sisak for verbally abusing the game officials during the AlpsHL game #274 KHL Sisak vs. HC Migross Asiago, played on March 3, 2026.

EUR 500 of the fine is payable immediately, while EUR 500 is suspended and placed on probation. Should a similar violation occur within the next 24 months, the suspended amount will become payable in addition to any newly imposed sanctions.

2. Fine for the conduct of Head Coach Josh Siembida
A fine of EUR 2,000 is imposed on KHL Sisak Head Coach Josh Siembida for his behaviour following the final buzzer of the match.

The fine is divided into two separate violations.

a) Insulting and threatening the opposing coach (Penalty Catalogue – Ref. No. 39) After the final buzzer, Josh Siembida left his team bench and insulted and threatened the opposing coach. For this violation, the Alps Hockey League Justice Commission imposes a fine of EUR 1,000, of which EUR 500 is payable immediately and EUR 500 is suspended and placed on probation. Should a similar violation occur within the next 24 months, the suspended amount will become payable in addition to any newly imposed sanctions.

b) Conduct harmful to the league (Penalty Catalogue – Ref. No. 2)
Furthermore, Josh Siembida displayed conduct harmful to the league by approaching the opposing team’s bench after the game instead of contributing to de-escalating the situation. For this violation, the Alps Hockey League Justice Commission imposes a fine of EUR 1,000, of which EUR 500 is payable immediately and EUR 500 is suspended and placed on probation. Should a similar violation occur within the next 24 months, the suspended amount will become payable in addition to any newly imposed sanctions.

The Alps Hockey League Justice Commission has imposed the following sanctions on HC Migross Asiago:

A fine of EUR 500 is imposed on HC Migross Asiago Head Coach John Parco for his behavior following the final buzzer of the AlpsHL game #274 KHL Sisak vs. HC Migross Asiago, played on March 3, 2026.

Insulting and threatening the opposing coach (Penalty Catalogue – Ref. No. 39).

After the final buzzer, John Parco, while remaining on his team bench and being held back by security personnel, insulted and threatened the opposing coach. For this violation, the Alps Hockey League Justice Commission imposes a fine of EUR 500, of which EUR 250 is payable immediately and EUR 250 is suspended and placed on probation. Should a similar violation occur within the next 24 months, the suspended amount will become payable in addition to any newly imposed sanctions.
