EC Red Bull Salzburg celebrated a commanding 3-0 home win against the spusu Vienna Capitals. Mario Huber gave Salzburg the lead in the 14th minute when he deflected a shot from Kiki Kraus into the net. The score remained 1:0 until the 25th minute, before Troy Bourke increased the lead to 2:0 after an assist from Ali Wukovits. The former Vienna Capitals player made it 3:0 himself (36.). The visitors from Vienna were unable to overcome Salzburg goalkeeper Atte Tolvanen, who celebrated his first shutout of the season. It was the Capitals' second game without a goal and their fifth defeat in nine games this season. With eleven points, they are in eighth place, while Salzburg is in fourth with 16 points.

Olimpija Ljubljana are directly ahead of the Red Bulls in third place. The Slovenians fought their way to a 4-2 home win against league leaders Moser Medical Graz99ers, who lost after regulation for the first time this season. Ljubljana thus reduced the gap to Graz to two points and are now one point ahead of Salzburg with 17 points. In a hard-fought game, Ljubljana were 3-2 up until two seconds before the end, before Ziga Pance made everything clear with an empty-net goal. Graz had a few chances to equalize before that. After a goalless first period, the visitors took the lead through Lukas Haudum in the 26th minute, but Ljubljana equalized in the second period through Marcel Mahkovec (38./PP1). Mahkovec also scored the decisive 3:2 goal four and a half minutes before the end of the game. It was the 20-year-old forward's first goals of the season.

The Steinbach Black Wings Linz celebrated a 3:1 away win at HC TIWAG Innsbruck. Although the hosts took the lead in the 7th minute with a goal from Corey Mackin, the Upper Austrians turned the game in their favor. Shawn St-Amant equalized in the 14th minute before Nico Feldner gave the Black Wings a 2-1 lead in the 43rd minute. Sean Collins made it 3:1 in the 59th minute. With their third win in a row, the Black Wings moved past Innsbruck in the standings and are now in ninth place with nine points. The Tyroleans, who suffered their third defeat in a row, follow in tenth place with eight points.

HC Pustertal secured a 6:4 home win against EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV in the highest-scoring game of the day. After the South Tyroleans turned a 0:1 deficit into a 2:1 lead in the first period, they were impressively in the final 187 seconds of the middle third. Davide Conci scored his second goal of the evening to take a 3:1 lead before the “Wolves” increased their lead to 5:1 with powerplay goals from Tommy Purdeller and Brett Findlay. Although VSV reduced the deficit to 2:5 right at the start of the final period through Kevin Hancock and kept up the pace, Pustertal's defense remained stable for a long time and only had to concede 3:5 in the 57th minute. However, the home side restored its three-goal lead just a few seconds later, but VSV scored the final goal in the final period through Kevin Hancock, who completed his first brace of the season. HC Pustertal climbed to seventh place with its third win in a row. For Villach, who are in eleventh place, it was their first defeat after two wins in a row.
