For the first time this season there will be the semifinal rematch of last season, between the HCB Südtirol Alperia and the spusu Vienna Capitals. The South Tyroleans prevailed in an exciting and balanced series with 4:2. This match is also expected with excitement, as it will be the first encounter of the South Tyroleans without Doug Mason as Head Coach. In the PULS 24 live match, the HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie returns on the ice against the EC-KAC, after a break of almost one month. The Bulldogs, in eleventh place in the table, are currently outside the pre-playoff places. With 77 goals already scored, Villach currently has the second-best offense in the league. With Scott Kosmachuk, the current league top goal scorer also wears the jersey of the "Eagles" (13 goals). Dornbirn, on the other hand, has already conceded 75 goals. Only Graz has conceded even more goals (80). EC GRAND Immo VSV-Head Coach Rob Daum will still have to do without convalescents Maximilian Rebernig as well as Yannick Pilloni against Dornbirn.
