  • HCB Südtirol Alperia and EC-KAC meet for the first time this season.
  • Bolzano leads with 41 points from 17 games. Klagenfurt is fourth, has 35 points - but has already played 20 games.
  • HCB has scored in each of its ten home-games. Eight times the "foxes" won in regulation, once each they lost after overtime or shootout.
  • The KAC has three game winning streak available on the road, conceding just one goal in those three encounters. With 1.91 points per road game, the "Rotjacken" are the second-best ICE team on the road. Only opponens Bolzano scored more with 2.14 points.
  • Both teams lost their last game.
  • HCB is still the best powerplay team in the league with 27.4%. On average they score almost one PP goal per game (0.90).
  • In addition, this game is the duel of the two best ICE defensives: HCB gets 1.76 goals against per game from the play, KAC 1.90.
  • HCB will be missing Ivan Tauferer, Mike Halmo and Leland Irving. The goalie will probably be out for up to two weeks due to a muscle injury. To be prepared for the tight game rhythm, Bolzano temporarily signed veteran Frederic Clautier. The 39-year-old already supported the "Foxes" in the 2019 pre-season and had already been engaged in his career in Germany, Finland but also with ICE rival Graz.
  • HCB has won the last three games against the KAC. Out of a total of 47 confrontations, the KAC won 26.
  • The KAC is threatened with the loss of up to nine players.
