Steel Wings Linz - EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel 2:1 (2:1,0:0,0:0)

In the fifth game of the new season it worked out with the first victory for the Steel Wings Linz. Against EC Die Adler Kitzbühel the Upper Austrians scored a 2:1 victory. All three goals of the match were scored in the first period. The Linz team took a 2-0 lead until the 18th minute, when the Eagles scored the equalizer. After that, both goalies Leon Sommer (SWL) and Paul Mocher (KEC) excelled. Thus, Kitzbühel has a completely balanced record after the first four games: 1 outright win, 1 win after OT, 1 loss after OT and one outright defeat.

EHC Lustenau - EK Die Zeller Eisbären 1:3 (0:0,1:0,0:3)

In the second Austrian duel on Thursday, EK Die Zeller Eisbären were able to take revenge for their quarterfinal exit in the previous season. After a goalless first period, the Vorarlberg team took the lead. However, a double strike by Daniel Band in the final period brought the turnaround. Zell finally prevailed 3:1 and climbed to third place in the table with the third win in the fourth game. EHC Lustenau, on the other hand, was handed the red lantern by this defeat.

Rittner Buam SkyAlps - HC Gherdeina valgardena.it 1:2 (0:1,1:0,0:1)

The Buam, on the other hand, who were given a total of 35 penalty minutes, were able to score once when shorthanded.

HC Meran/o Pircher - Red Bull Hockey Juniors 2:3 (1:1,1:1,0:1)

After the 2:9 defeat of HC Meran/o Pircher against the E-KAC Future Team a few days ago, it was not enough for points, but an improvement was already visible. The Red Bull Hockey Juniors celebrated a 3:2 victory over Meran/o and climbed to fourth place in the table. However, Meran/o initially took the lead - after an early deficit - in the second period. But the Juniors had the better end and Quirin Bader provided the decision in the final period.

The Hockey Unterland Cavaliers remain the measure of all things in the young season of the Alps Hockey League. The newcomer recorded the fourth full success in the fourth game and is now the only unbeaten team - and without losing any points.
