The Gherdeina valgardena.it after Christmas started to win and now it seems that it doesn’t want to stop. Can you tell us what happened?
"At the end of October we had a new coach who changed some foreigner players. From a purely defensive game and very “man on man”, we switched to a more offensive game and calibrated according to the opponent of the moment. It took us a bit to assimilate the schemes of new coach Pat Lefebvre but the good results arrived. Then after a couple of games won, you want to keep on winning. "

At this point do you begin to believe to the playoffs?
"No. Absolutely. It is still very difficult. We are only at the beginning of this second phase and we must face some direct clashes. In addition, we collected only a few bonus points in the regular season. However, we focus on ourselves, we do not look at the others. We will try to win every game without making calculations. "

Which sensation brings you this Sky Alps Hockey League?
"The variety of opponents is something that is much appreciated. It moved from a pretty repetitive schedule to a very diverse calendar. Moreover, all the matches are very hard fought. We as players have great fun. But I do not think it's just a thought. Around the League other colleagues are positive. Then it is also true that it is the first year and some things have to be improved (as the television aspect). But this league has a future and can only grow by attracting even more public. "

What impressed you most at the level of play and team?
"The game has become very fast, especially in powerplay you never know where the puck will end. When you play against Jesenice, Renon Asiago you must be very careful. In general the pace grew and so there are no breaks. For the final victory I would see this team: Rittner Buam, Asiago and Pustertal. They have a total experience that will make a difference in the playoffs games. "

Your future?
"As long as I enjoy it and as long as my legs and knees hold up, I want to enjoy myself and play this sport. Of course I also have to think about life and as many other players I have another job, especially in the summer. Another objective is to continue in the future to remain in group of the Senior National italian team that is now a truly united group. "
