Only for the 11th time in Erste Bank Eishockey Liga history we had 5 road wins on one game day. With their fourth season victory against EC-KAC, the Moser Medical Graz99ers are still on the trail of spusu Vienna Capitals. The leaders earned an OT win in Linz.

The Caps defended their league lead with an overtime win in Linz. After a goalless first the visitors opened the scoring early in the second when Andreas Nödl scored a shorthanded goal. Dan DaSilva tied it ten minutes later and the Canadian added another one in the third. With three minutes to go Dorion's blue liner sent the game into overtime where Chris DeSousa became the hero. It was the fourth successive home defeat for the Black Wings.

Innsbruck got the game day's only home win, beating Bolzano after overtime. The hosts had the better of the play and took a 2:0 lead into the first intermission with goals from Spurgeon and Clark. Things changed in the second when the foxes stepped up a gear. Campbell pulled one back at the halfway point of the game and Nordlund tied it in the final minute of the middle frame - both goals were scored in PP. After a goalless third Nick Ross decided it to Innsbruck favour - he also scored the overtime game winner in Salzburg three days ago.

After a 4:2 victory in Klagenfurt, Moser Medical Graz99ers still lead the chasing pack. It was their fifth consecutive win, the fourth this season, against EC-KAC. The Styrians were the dominant team in the first and got a late opening goal from Jakobsson. After Petersen tied in in the second, Setzinger (PP) and Natter put Graz 3:1 ahead. Klagenfurt became stronger in the third but Comrie's only goal was not enough. Graz' Garbowsky rounded off the scoring with five to go.

EC Panaceo VSV held the upper hand in the meeting of the two bottom-placed clubs. Jamie Fraser opened the scoring on power play but Brencun's equalizer made it 1:1 after the first. After missing a 5 on 3 PP, Villach got on winning ways with goals from Sharp and Petrik. The third of Villach-born Petrik was the club's 2500th goal in EBEL regular season. Fraser added a fourth for the preliminary decision. The final 8:2 was Villach's second-highest road win in league history.

Both teams gave proof of being among the top 4 offensive teams as they scored ten goals. Fehervar had a 2:0 lead after 5 minutes but a Kujawinski brace got Znojmo back. Phillips restored the lead once again but Znojmo turned it even in the first - 3:4. For the first time in their EBEL history the Czechs scored four first-period goals in a road game. Fehervar tied it early in the second but two more Kalus goals (hat trick) made it safe for Znojmo.

Dornbirn got their second win against Salzburg within six days. Despite having a perfect start, John Hughes made the breakthrough after four minutes, the Red Bulls suffered their 7th defeat in the last eight games. After Brodie Reid's first-period equalizer, Henrik Neubauer scored the game winner in the second. Salzburg tried hard in the third but DEC goalie Rasmus Rinne had some great saves for another big Dornbirn win.
