With the addition of Domingue, Bolzano will have a goaltender with international experience between the pipes next season. The Canadian played 151 NHL games for no fewer than seven teams: the Arizona Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning, New Jersey Devils, Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, Pittsburgh Penguins and New York Rangers.

Domingue began last season as a free agent in the KHL with Russian club Sibir Novosibirsk. However, for family reasons, he returned to North America in November and joined the Florida Panthers organization. He went on to play 14 games for their AHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers.

According to the South Tyrolean club, roster planning for the 2026/27 season is now complete. The team will be finalized in the coming days with the announcement of the new coaching staff.

Pioneers searching for new Head Coach
Pioneers Vorarlberg have been forced to announce an unexpected personnel change shortly before the planned start of training camp. Head Coach Janne Grönvall, who was originally scheduled to arrive in Zurich on Monday and begin his role with Pioneers Vorarlberg, will not take up the position due to personal reasons.

Grönvall deeply regrets his decision: “I am very sorry that I cannot come. It would have been a great opportunity for me. I wish the Pioneers all the best for the upcoming season.”

The club’s management is currently discussing the next steps internally. At the same time, the search for a suitable replacement has already begun, with the aim of filling the Head Coach position as soon as possible.
