Forward Evan Polei moves to Ljubljana | Ken Ograjenšek stays in Linz

Olimpija Ljubljana has signed the Canadian Evan Polei. The 29-year-old forward played in Norway last season, where he recorded 42 points in 52 games for the Stavanger Oilers. Ken Ograjenšek is staying with the Steinbach Black Wings Linz and is thus entering his 13th season in the league.

Evan Polei is known for his physical play as well as his determination and efficiency in front of the net. After 295 AHL games, the Canadian moved to Europe for the first time last summer. He recorded 42 points in 52 games for the Stavanger Oilers. He has now moved to Ljubljana.

Linz keeps Ken Ograjenšek
Ken Ograjenšek remains with the Steinbach Black Wings Linz and thus enters his 13th league season. In 55 appearances for the Upper Austrians, the Slovenian recorded 47 points, his best season ever in the win2day ICE Hockey League. The 33-year-old winger is currently taking part in the World Championship with the Slovenian national team and scored the goal of honour in yesterday's 3-1 defeat against Slovakia.
