24-year-old Philip Putnik started his career with EK Zell am See before joining Erste Bank Eishockey Liga club Dornbirn in 2012-13. In the past years he played for Dornbirn and cooperation club Bregenzerwald. Last season he gained 15 goals and assists each in 32 Sky Alps Hockey League games. "Lustenau is the place where I can improve best. Coach Gerald Ressmann counts on young players and I'm sure that I can still learn a lot. I want to help the club to reach the goals and want to be a role model for the club's young player".

Gerald Ressmann really wanted Putnik on his team: "He's a young and hungry player who gives everything on the ice. Philip is a team player and has the potential to play EBEL in some years".

With Philipp Koczera a second player switches from Bregenzerwald to Lustenau. The 23-year-old native Viennese also knows Ressmann from the past: "He was my coach in the youth team and also first team of EC-KAC, I learnt a lot during this time. I was always in touch with him and he was the main reason for my transfer, too. I think he can still make me better".

The coach has words of praise for his latest roster addition: "I know him very well. He has lots of potential and I'm sure that we will have much fun with him in Lustenau".
