There will be fights for points in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga in Bozen, Innsbruck, Salzburg and Szekesfehervar on Friday. The home-teams will try to get their first win in the Intermediate Round.

Erste Bank Eishockey Liga, 2. Pick Round:

Fri, 15.02.2019: Fehervar AV19 vs. EC-KAC (18:00, DIGI SPORT live)
Referees: SMETANA, ZRNIC, Nagy, Zgonc.
• Fehervar AV19 will welcome EC-KAC with good memories on Friday, The Hungarians have won all (four) season-meetings so far. The game will be broadcasted live by DIGI Sport and will start at 18:00.
• Szekesfehervar has been impregnable during the last weeks: Janos Hari and Co. have been successful in four straight home-games, netting 24 goals and allowing just five goals. Besides, the Devils have already collected 48 points (16 wins) out of 22 home-games 2018/19.
• Offensiv-power and defensiv-power will meet each other in Szekesfehervar on Friday: While the Hungarians have potted most goals at home (102!), Klagenfurt has allowed fewest goals on the road (52).
• Fehervar AV19 has the best scoring% (12,9%). Janos Hari and Co. have already potted 169 goals out of 1310 shot on net 2018/19. On the other hand,  Klagenfurt is among the Top 3 teams in the Power Play-, Penalty Killing- and Fair Play statistics.
• Fehervar AV19s Janos Hari (61 points – 21G/40A) and EC-KACs Nick Petersen (59 points – 24G/35A) are their teams best scorers.

• EC Red Bull Salzburg vs. spusu Vienna Capitals is the only Austrian clash on Friday. The match will be broadcasted live by SKY Sport HD.
• The two teams have shown different faces lately: While the Mozart Citizens have been defeated in three straight (road-)matches, allowing 17 goals, Vienna has won two consecutive games. But, watch out: Salzburg has been impregnable during the last weeks: John Hughes and Company have left the ice as the winner in four straight home-games, potting 24 goals. Furthermore, the Red Bulls have won 14 out of 22 home-games 2018/19.
• spusu Vienna Capitals are the only club in the Pick Round, that has given away no goal so far. The Caps won the 1st game against HCB Südtirol Alperia 4:0, goalie Jean Philippe Lamoureux had 19 saves.

• The final score has been 4:3 after Shoot Out in three straight meetings. The Red Bulls had the better end twice.

• HCB Südtirol Alperia will welcome their favorit opponent, the Moser Medical Graz99ers, on Friday. The Foxes have won six straight meetings and were the last team, that has beaten the Styrians on January 20th 2019 (1:2). Since that day, the Mur Citizens have won five consecutive matches, while the Champion has been defeated three times (on the road) lately and has allowed 15 goals.
• But, watch out: The Italians have shown a different face at home lately: The Foxes have won three straight home-games, scoring 18 goals in total and giving away just four goals.
• Moser Medical Graz99ers have been convincing on the road so far: The Styrians earned most points on the road (39), got most wins on the road  (14) and they have left the ice in eight straight road-games to. But, watch out: The 99ers earned their last road-defeat in Bozen on December 16th (2:7).
• HCB Südtirol Alperia is the only club in the Pick Round, that hasn’s scored a goal so far: The „Foxes“ opened the Intermediate Round in Vienna, loosing by four goals – 0:4. Leader Moser Medical Graz99ers won their first game against Fehervar AV19 at home 5:3.
• The 99ers are the best team in Power Play. The Styrians have potted 42 goals out of 154 Power Plays (PP%: 27.3).

• HC TWK Innsbruck „Die Haie“ vs. HC Orli Znojmo is a west-east-duell. Each team collected points in the first Qualification Round: The Sharks were defeated 3:4/SO in Dornbirn, the Czechs beat EC Panaceo VSV at home 4:0. 
• The two teams have shown different faces lately: While the Tyroleans have lost three games in a row, the Czechs have won all (three) matches during this month so far, scoring 20 goals and allowing just four goals.
• HC Orli Znojmo  has won the last two meetings, netting six goals per game.
