According to the Arbitrator and having considered the video evidence and ruling of the AHL PSC, player Nicholas Trecapelli (#26) of S.G. Cortina Hafro, will receive supplementary discipline under rule 124 – Checking to the Head or Neck.
On Sunday, October 20th, (#26) Nicholas Trecapelli of S.G. Cortina Hafro, was involved in an incident deemed as a check to the head, late and interference.

The attacking player, while in puck possession and skating out of his defending zone into attacking zone, dumped the puck into the attacking zone before the center red line. The defending player, (#26) Nicholas Trecapelli made a unobstructed choice to make a body check at his defending zone blue line. The incident was sent to the AHL PSC and determined supplementary discipline is required for considerations of both the check being late and directly to the head of the opposing player. It has been determined that the body check was late. A skating distance of the opposing player of half of the neutral zone from puck release to contact.

Furthermore, Nicholas Trecapelli elevated up and out with his right shoulder to make contact directly to the head of the opposing player.

This is NOT a body check. Its a dirty, cheap and disrespectful check to a unsuspecting opponent. The check lead to an apparent serious injury.
