Znojmo cheers second home win within less than 24 hours
After the 7:5 victory over Dornbirn on Friday, HC TESLA Orli Znojmo also grabbed a home win on Saturday. The Czechs beat HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie with 3:2 - and celebrated the first victory in the last season duel with the "Haien". On home ice, the "Adler", still in eighth place, are now without defeat for five games. After Innsbruck took a lucky lead through Alex Dostie (6.), a deflection by Filip Ahl (10.) and Radek Prokes (31.) turned the game for the home team, Luciani missed a penalty. Prokes' goal for the lead happened on the power play, after a perfect pass from Ilya Zubov. Innsbruck struggled with penalties, but they managed to score the equalizer through Simon Bourque (38.). In the final period, Znojmo, which even survived six shorthanded situations, sealed the deal with another powerplay goal by Ryan Clukin (54.).

Despite the loss, Innsbruck's Mike Huntebrinker continued his scoring streak. His assist for the 1-0 lead was his 15th scoring point in the last ten games.
