Tyler Sikura started his career in the NCCA, where he also held the role of captain at Dartmouth College until he made it to the American Hockey League afterwards. Between 2014 and 2017, he played primarily in the ECHL, earning a regular spot with the Rockford IceHogs, farm team of the Chicago Blackhawks, in 2017. In his first year, he was already the team's third-leading scorer and was voted MVP (45 points in 87 games, including 28 goals and 17 assists), reaching the Conference Finals. In 2020, he remained with the IceHogs as an assistant captain, then moved to the Cleveland Monsters for two seasons (he scored 21 points in just 29 games in the shortened season due to Covid) before joining the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (33 points) jersey the previous year. In all his years in the American Hockey League, Sikura amassed between 20 and 40 points per season, totaling 188 points in 397 games (84 goals and 104 assists).

The move to Bolzano is the first step across the pond for the 31-year-old.

Tyler Sikura: "I'm happy to be able to be part of the Foxes. I've always followed Bolzano over the past few years, as I had and have friends who played or still play there. All of them told me only positive things about the club and the environment. Therefore I know the quality of the players and the organization, this made my decision easier. One of my guiding principles that has always accompanied me throughout my career is "go where you are welcome": through the persistence of Dr. Knoll and the club in these weeks, I understood that this could be a great opportunity for me. After many seasons in North America, I am happy to have found a reality where winning counts more than anything else: my goal is to bring the right spark to the team and give the fans another trophy. I want to thank my wife and my family, who fully support me to continue my dream and my passion".
