In the coming days, eleven teams of the Alps Hockey League will be playing preseason matches. There will be three league internal duels. In addition, Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey will play two finals for the Italian Supercup within three days.
BEMER VEU Feldkirch showed a top performance in the home game against EHC Freiburg. Two finals for Asiago
Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey will play two finals within three days. Today, Thursday, the Italian champions will face the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers in the Supercup in Neumarkt. Coach Mattila can rely on almost the entire squad, only Rosa and Olivero will be missing. On Saturday, HC Merano will come to Asiago, where the Supercup 2020, which was not awarded due to the pandemic, will be played. These two games will also mark the end of Federico Benetti's career.
Transfer news
Asiago announced the contract extensions of Luca Stevan and Gabriele Parini. Gregorio Gios and Andrea Longhini complete the squad of the runners-up. Michele Forte, on the other hand, moved from Asiago to Fassa. The 19-year-old defender played 35 games last season and recorded one assist.
After a successful tryout, HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice signed three young Slovenian forwards: Ahmet Jakupović (19 years), Miha Krmelj (20) and Jaša Jenko (20) will play in the Alps Hockey League next season.
In addition, Hafro Cortina Hockey announced some transfer updates: While 26-year-old Riccardo Lacedelli returned to his home club after a season in Finland, the Italians extended nine contracts and gave three more players from the U19 the chance to prove themselves in the AHL team.
