Thursday marks the second meeting of the season between Ritten and Sterzing. As a special highlight, the game will be broadcast as a free livestream on Valcome.tv. In their first encounter this season, the Broncos narrowly prevailed 2–1 in overtime. The two teams also met during preseason play, when Ritten claimed a tight 4–3 shootout win. Both sides are currently in good form: seventh-placed Ritten has won its last three games, while ninth-placed Sterzing suffered a 7–3 home loss to Asiago in its most recent outing but had previously recorded four straight victories. The teams are separated by seven points in the standings, with Ritten having played two more games.

Kitzbühel vs. Bregenzerwald in key Top 5 battle
The clash between Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel and EC Bregenzerwald carries significant importance in the fight for a Top 5 position. Fourth-placed Kitzbühel sits on 40 points, holding only a four-point advantage over sixth-placed Bregenzerwald. The Tyrolean side has lost its last two home games and has managed just two wins from its previous five outings. Bregenzerwald, meanwhile, is coming off a 6–2 home win over Gherdeina, after previously suffering three consecutive defeats. The first meeting of the season between the two teams was won 2–1 by Bregenzerwald, with Philipp Poschmann scoring both goals.

Zell am See seeking revenge against Gherdeina
The first season meeting between EK Die Zeller Eisbären and HC Gherdeina valgardena.it ended in a 3–1 win for the South Tyroleans. It marked Gherdeina’s first victory in the head-to-head series after three straight wins by the Polar Bears. The defending champions and third-placed Zell am See are currently in better form, having won three of their last five games. Tenth-placed Gherdeina, by contrast, has managed just one win from its last five games and only two victories from its past ten overall. On the road, Gherdeina has been winless since October 9, spanning nine away games. With just five points, Gherdeina is currently the league’s weakest away team.

Second-placed Sisak faces Cortina
Second-placed KHL Sisak has a four points gap to league leader Salzburg. S.G. Cortina Hafro currently sits eighth and must be careful not to lose ground in the race for the Top 5, trailing fifth-placed Asiago by seven points. In the first meeting between Sisak and Cortina this season, the Italian side claimed a narrow 3–2 shootout win at home. Cortina is currently unbeaten in three consecutive games, while Sisak is also in excellent form, having recorded four wins from its last five outings.

Asiago hosts Meran
Fifth-placed HC Migross Asiago currently occupies the final direct Master Round position. HC Meran/o Pircher, meanwhile, sits 12th in the standings and already trails Asiago by 16 points. The first meeting of the season between the two sides saw Asiago edge a high-scoring contest 6–5 in a shootout. Most recently, the league returnees earned a 7–3 road win in Sterzing, one of three victories from their last five games. Meran, on the other hand, has won just one of its last five games and only two of its previous ten overall.

Bottom side Unterland takes on Jesenice
Thursday also features a matchup between league bottom side Hockey Unterland Cavaliers and 11th-placed HDD Jesenice. The Slovenian team was already in action on Tuesday, falling 3–1 away to Salzburg, marking its first loss after two consecutive wins. Unterland has failed to win its last two games and has recorded just one victory from its past five contests. In their first meeting of the season, Unterland lost 7–4 on the road to Jesenice, which marked the fifth straight win for last season’s finalists against the South Tyroleans.
