The Red Bull Hockey Juniors moved to the top of the standings on Sunday with a narrow 4–3 home win against Kitzbühel. On Tuesday, they will host sixth-placed Rittner Buam SkyAlps, who are eleven points behind the Juniors but level on points with fifth-placed Kitzbühel. On Sunday, the Buam lost 1–2 at home in the derby against Merano, though they won the first two season meetings with the Juniors narrowly (3–2/OT, 4–3).

Zell am See hosts struggling Cortina
S.G. Cortina Hafro, currently tenth in the standings, has failed to win any of their last three games and is already eleven points behind the top five. On Sunday, they were defeated 3–4 by bottom-placed Unterland. Meanwhile, EK Die Zeller Eisbären secured a 4–2 home win over EC Bregenzerwald, one of three victories in their last five games for the third-placed team. They also won the first two season encounters against Cortina (4–2, 3–1).

Kitzbühel fights for crucial Top-5 points
With 49 points, Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel are currently level on points with sixth-placed Ritten in the all-important fifth spot. Their opponents, HC Meran/o Pircher, are eleventh and 14 points off a Master Round spot. The South Tyroleans recently pulled off a surprising 2–1 away win in the derby at Ritten, while Kitzbühel narrowly lost 3–4 to league leaders Salzburg. For the Tyroleans, it was the first defeat after two consecutive wins, while Merano ended a two-game losing streak. In head-to-head matchups this season, Kitzbühel has won twice (5–4, 8–3).

Asiago aims for sixth straight win
With five consecutive wins, HC Migross Asiago is currently the hottest team of the league. They have climbed to fourth in the standings, but hold just two points ahead of sixth place. On Tuesday, they visit bottom-placed Hockey Unterland Cavaliers, who ended a five-game losing streak on Sunday with a 4–3 win over Cortina. Unterland has had no chance against Asiago this season, losing both previous meetings 1–4.

Battle for seventh: Bregenzerwald vs. Sterzing
Eighth-placed EC Bregenzerwald hosts seventh-placed Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan. The teams are separated by just one point, and the top five are still within reach, with WSV five points and ECB six points behind. Current form favors the Broncos, who have won four of their last five games, while Bregenzerwald has managed only one victory in their last five matches. However, the Vorarlberg team has won both season meetings against Sterzing (5–4 OT, 3–1).

Jesenice and Gherdeina close out the game day
In the sixth and final match on Tuesday, HDD Jesenice face HC Gherdeina valgardena.it. In the standings, it’s a clash of twelfth (JES) versus ninth (GHE), separated by five points. Both teams lost on Sunday, but Jesenice has won three of their last five games, while Gherdeina has two victories in the last five matches. So far this season, the home team has won both head-to-head meetings (3–2 GHE, 5–1 JES).
