Further preseason games in the coming days | Captain Adami extends in Cortina

Less than a month before the start of the new season, more and more teams are starting into the preseason. There is also still a lot of action on in the transfer market. With Francesco Adami the captain of S.G. Cortina Hafro stays on board. The Rittner Buam strengthened themselves with Marco Insam. Transfer activities were also announced by the Red Bull Hockey Juniors and the EC Bregenzerwald.

Bregenzerwald starts preseason with victory
Last Saturday the EC Bregenzerwald started the preseason with a 4:1 home win against HCV Martigny from Switzerland. Both Roberts Lipsbergs and Fabian Ranftl scored a brace. The Vorarlberger team are already back in action on Tuesday. With HC Prättigau they will meet again a Swiss team.

Five more test matches until Thursday
Up to and including Thursday, August 18th, five more test matches with Alps Hockey League participation are scheduled. The Steel Wings Linz will play against IHC Pisek today, Monday. The following day, the Steel Wings will face the HC Tabor.

The Trofeo Ladino continues on Wednesday with the duel HC Gherdeina valgardena.it against S.G. Cortina Hafro. Both teams already met last Tuesday in Cortina. Thereby the home side kept the upper hand with 5:3.

Next Thursday there will be two AHL duels. The EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel will face league newcomer Hockey Unterland Cavaliers. The EK Die Zeller Eisbären will play against the EC-KAC Future Team.

Captain Adami extends in Cortina
The 36-year-old Francesco Adami enters his 19th full season with the S.G. Cortina Hafro. The captain of the Italians has played in Cortina since his youth. In 220 AHL games so far, the center has scored 120 points. With Luca Zanatta and Michael Angelo Zanatta, the Italians also extended with two other players.

Insam strengthens Ritten
The Rittner Buam strengthened themselves with Marco Insam. The 33-year-old spent most of his career with the HCB Südtirol Alperia. Last season, the forward scored eight points in 32 games in the win2day ICE Hockey League.

Two new players for the Hockey Juniors
With the Czech Marek Brada and the Finn Juha Pukkila, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors announced two new signings. The 19-year-old Brada was last active with EV Landshut. The 21-year-old Pukkila comes from Lukko.

Kandemir extends with Bregenzerwald
The 21-year-old Adam Kandemir enters his third season with the EC Bregenzerwald. So far, the center has played 58 games (29 points) in the AHL.
