The HCB Südtirol Alperia, EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV, EC-KAC, Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey and HK SZ Olimpija announced further squad decisions on Wednesday evening and Thursday. While win2day ICE Hockey League runner-up Bolzano extended the contract of Daniel Mantenuto, Villach announced the signing of Canadian defenseman Dylan MacPherson. On the KAC´s side, the contract with Lukas Haudum was extended. At Asiago Luke Moncada and Allan McShane remain on board. Gianluca Vallini, on the other hand, has left the Italians after four seasons. In addition, Olimpija extended the contract with homegrown player Ziga Mehle.

Italian international Daniel Mantenuto, at the recent World Championship he was the top scorer for the Italians with three goals and four assists, will continue to play for the "Foxes" in the upcoming win2day ICE Hockey League season. His contract has been extended. In the past campaign – his first for the two-time champions – he scored 27 points (7G|20A).

VSV completes defensive lineup
The EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV has signed a new defenseman in Dylan MacPherson. Thus, the defense of the Eagles is complete. For the 25-year-old Canadian, Villach is the first stop outside North America. Most recently, MacPherson played in both the American Hockey League (AHL) and the East Coast Hockey League (ECHL). "I am already very excited and looking forward to my new teammates as well as the new challenge. My strengths are definitely in defensive play. I want to play a really good season and have success together with the team," said the MacPherson.

Haudum stays with the KAC
Forward Lukas Haudum, who scored the second-highest point average of all KAC players in the past season stays in Klagenfurt. The 26-year-old joined EC-KAC in the summer of 2019 after five years in Sweden and has since played 198 competitive games for the KAC, in which he scored 127 points (55G / 72A).

Personnel decisions also in Asiago
Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey has extended the contract of Luke Moncada for three seasons. The 23-year-old will remain with the "Giallorossi" up to and including the 25/26 season. In 49 games of the past season, the Canadian scored nine goals and 19 assists. In addition, Allan McShane will stay at the the Italians for another season. Gianluca Vallini, meanwhile, has left the Italians after four seasons together. The goalie played 21 games in Asiago's ICE debut season and had a save percentage of 90.9%.

Olimpija extends contract with homegrown player Mehle
Forward Ziga Mehle has been playing for HK SZ Olimpija since his youth. Last season, the 21-year-old completed his first season in the win2day ICE Hockey League. In 47 games, he scored seven points.
