HC Meran/o Pircher – HC Migross Asiago
Asiago celebrated their second straight win on Friday with a convincing 6–2 home success. League top scorer Ryan Valentini was the standout performer, scoring three times and adding two assists. Merano had won the first three games of the series, conceding only four goals in total. In the following two matchups, Asiago turned the tables and netted nine times. The Eagles have been particularly strong at home in recent weeks, winning six of their last eight games at the Meranarena. Another victory on Saturday would secure Merano’s first-ever appearance in the AHL semifinals.

HC Gherdeina valgardena.it – Red Bull Hockey Juniors
The Red Bull Hockey Juniors earned a commanding 9–2 win on Friday, forcing the series back to Wolkenstein for Game 6 on Sunday. While Gherdeina had conceded just seven goals in the first four games, their defense struggled in the fifth outing. Now, the South Tyrolean side has a great opportunity to make history and reach the AHL semifinals for the first time in front of their home crowd. Gherdeina won both of their previous home games in the series, 3–2 and 1–0, and the Juniors have recently struggled on the road—winning just one of their last nine away games.
