bet-at-home ICE Hockey League:
Sun, 30.01.2022, 17:30: Tesla Orli Znojmo - HCB Südtirol Alperia
Referees: FICHTNER, PIRAGIC, Bärnthaler, Riecken | >> PPV-Livestream <<

After the 1:7 defeat in Székesfehérvár, Znojmo came back with a shutout against Linz and climbed up to ninth place in the table. Now the Czech Eagles, who are one of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League's strongest teams at home with 13 wins from 18 games, return to Nevoga Arena for their clash with Bolzano. The third-placed South Tyroleans were defeated in Hungary on Friday. Although Bolzano won the first two duels of the season, recent memories of Znojmo are not the best. At the end of November, in Doug Mason's last game as head coach, they suffered a 10:2 defeat.

Sun, 30.01.2022, 17:30: Hydro Fehervar AV 19 - EC-KAC
Referees: HLAVATY, SIEGEL, Kis-Kiraly, Konc | >> PPV-Livestream <<

After the clear success over Znojmo, Fehérvár followed up with a 3:1 home win against Bolzano on Friday. The EC-KAC, currently in fifth place, suffered a major setback in the fight for a direct quarterfinal qualification due to the home defeat against Dornbirn. Petri Matikainen's team will now face the second-placed Hungarians, the only ICE team they have not been defeated by so far this season. While the Klagenfurt side earned an overtime victory in the first road game, they won their only home game so far 3:1. In Hungary, the defending champions will be looking to improve on their very solid away record so far, as the EC-KAC have gone without a point in only four of their 18 away games this season. Sebastian Dahm, who has played 44 of the EC-KAC's 46 competitive games so far in the 2021/22 season, travelled to Denmark on Saturday to join the Danish national team with whom he will compete at the Winter Olympics. Val Usnik, who is only 20 years old, will therefore make his debut in the ICE team.

Sun, 30.01.2022, 17:30: Steinbach Black Wings Linz - EC GRAND Immo VSV
Referees: RENCZ, STERNAT, Bedynek, Vaczi | >> PPV-Livestream <<

The Steinbach Black Wings Linz held on for a long time against Znojmo on Friday, but in the end had to accept their third defeat in a row with 0:3. The next opponents from Villach had to admit defeat twice recently, but are still in sixth place. In the first two duels of the season, the Carinthians were the winners, but shortly before Christmas, the Upper Austrians surprised with an away victory. VSV have alternated between wins and losses in their last six road games. VSV head coach Rob Daum will have to do without Renars Krastenbergs, who is with Latvia's Olympic team. Otherwise, he will have the entire squad at his disposal. Alexander Schmidt will start in goal.

Sun, 30.01.2022, 17:30: Dornbirn Bulldogs - EC Red Bull Salzburg
Referees: BERNEKER, VIRTA, Basso, Rigoni | >> PPV-Livestream <<

After four previous away defeats, the Dornbirn Bulldogs prevailed 2:1 in Klagenfurt on Friday. The twelfth-placed Vorarlberg side will face EC Red Bull Salzburg at home on Sunday. On 24 September 2021, in only the third game of the regular season, the Red Bulls were defeated by the Bulldogs 5:6. After this game, the Salzburgers briefly sank to tenth place in the table, which was also their lowest ranking of the season. Now, four months later, the Red Bulls are far away from that. Head coach Matt McIlvane's team has been at the top of the table for twelve rounds now, and on 30 December the Salzburgers also got their revenge with a 3:1 home win against the Vorarlbergers. After Ali Wukovits, Ty Loney will also return to the Salzburg line-up.
