Samuel Baroš played 26 games for the iClinic Bratislava Capitals last season. His save percentage was 90.2%. Before his time in Bratislava, the 27-years-old played for the HC Banska Bystrica, among others, with whom he won the Slovak Extraliga in 2019.

New signing Connor LaCouvee also has won one title so far. In the season 2014/15, he won the NCAA Hockey East championship with the Boston Univ. The 26-years-old Canadian has spent most of his career in North America. Last season, LaCouvee also played nine games for HK Dukla Trenčín in Slovakia. Otherwise, he has played mostly in the ECHL and the American Hockey League the last few years.

Capitals Vice President Dušan Pašek on the goaltending duo: "We were in contact with Connor before he signed with Trenčín, but unfortunately we couldn't sign him and therefore we signed Jared Coreau. Now we are happy that it worked out. He is an agile goalkeeper who wants to work on himself and continue to improve. Samo Baroš helped us especially in the first half of last season and I'm glad he will stay with us next season."

Daniel Szabo plays two more seasons for Fehérvár
Defender Daniel Szabo will continue to play for Hydro Fehérvár AV19 in the next two seasons. The 25-years-old Hungarian has already played 223 games for the first team of AVS. Prior to that, Szabo played for all of Fehérvár's youth teams.

Daniel Szabo on the contract extension: "When the management approached me and asked me to extend my contract I was of course very happy because I've been playing in Fehérvár all my life. In the last few years I proved that I deserve a place in the team and I am happy to play another two years in my hometown. I will try to repay the trust!"
