  • The game between the Moser Medical Graz99ers and EC GRAND Immo VSV is the first game of the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League after a 14-day break, after all games were postponed in the past two weeks due to medical precautionary measures.
  • Both teams played their last game on October 16th resp. 23 days ago. While Graz celebrated a 3:2 overtime victory in Bolzano, Villach was defeated by Fehérvár at home.
  • The 99ers are ranked second, holding on to five wins. VSV is bottom placed. Recently they had three defeats in a row.
  • Graz is the second most dangerous team on powerplay. Doug Mason's team scored every third occasion (34.8%). Villach needed considerably more attempts (14.3%) for his five PP goals.
  • At VSV, Maximilian Kammerer's loan contract expired during the Covid 19 break and he returned to Düsseldorf. Jordan Caron, who already has experience in the NHL, will take over the vacant position with immediate effect.
  • On October 11th Graz won the first season encounter with 6:2, but VSV has won 64 of the 115 games against G99.
  • EC GRAND Immo VSV will play its 500th regular season road game since the new league was founded in summer 2000.
  • Graz is spared Joel Broda, Travis Oleksuk and Ken Ograjensek. Michael Rasmussen will make his comeback and Olle Alsing his home debut. Clemens Krainz and Jacob Pfeffer return from the U20 national team in time. Lukas Kainz will be absent longer. The forward suffers from a lower body injury and must undergo surgery. He will be out for about 4 weeks.
  • The "Eagles" are missing Raphael Wolf and Scott Kosmachuk - both for health reasons - and Benjamin Lanzinger who is out due to an upper body injury.
