David Åslin arrived from Allsvenskan, playing for Södertälje SK past season. The 30-year-old Swede also gained much experience in SHL before, as he showed up overall 218 games in Swedish first division, posting 21 goals and 34 assists.

Second new arrival Greg Squires played at KHL during the last two years. For Kunlun Red Star the 31-year-old American forward collected 3 goals and 8 assists. Prior that, he also played in the SHL, producing 51 points (26 G | 25 A).

“Both players have quite good skating skills and will back out offensive squad. And they are a good compensation for Colton Yellow Horn and Sebastian Collberg, who can recover from their injuries”, assistant coach Jens Gustafsson said.
