The 30-year-old played a total of 40 games for the Allsvenskan team and concluded his second season in Europe with a save percentage of 90.6%. Prior to that, he was playing in the DEL with the Iserlohn Roosters (90.9%). Peters spent his youth years in the OHL in Canada and the United States. The Canadian then played alternately in the ECHL and AHL until the 2019/20 season.

"Anthony was one of the best goalies in the Allsvenskan last year. He is a technically skilled goalie who plays with a lot of calm and reads the game well. Together with Felix (Nussbacher; note) they will make a great goaltending duo for us," said head coach Jens Gustafsson.

Graz goalie coach Nizze Landen, who also coaches the goalies on the Swedish U20 team, is looking forward to working with Peters too: "I have watched some of Anthony's games. He has played very well and knows exactly what he does on the ice. MODO was not among the top teams this year, but Anthony still kept his team in the game. He is also a very nice guy off the ice and has a good character."
