Once again this year, the win2day ICE Hockey League’s “Hands-On-The-Trophy” Challenge delivered a unique fan experience. At the invitation of Harry’s Home Hotels & Apartments, ice hockey fans from all 13 ICE clubs gathered at Harry’s Home in Villach to get into the mood for the hottest phase of the season – the playoffs. While the final games of the regular season were followed live, one key question once again took center stage: who could keep their hand on the Karl Nedwed Trophy the longest?

Endurance Performance Sets New Record
In the end, a fan from Ljubljana emerged victorious, showing remarkable determination and stamina to set a new record. For more than six hours, he kept his hand on the trophy while overcoming numerous challenges and distraction attempts that pushed all participants to their limits. With this record-breaking performance, he ultimately secured the win – and with it the special prize of spending an entire day with the Karl Nedwed Trophy.

Shared Playoff Excitement
Beyond the competition, the main focus was on the shared ice hockey experience. Fans took the opportunity to get into the playoff spirit during the watch party at Harry’s Home in Villach, following the win2day ICE Hockey League games together. Snacks, drinks and plenty of conversations about the action on the ice created the perfect atmosphere.
