Lukas Haudum is the first new signing for the Moser Medical Graz99ers. The 26-year-old spent the last five seasons with the EC-KAC and celebrated the championship title with the Klagenfurters in 2020-21. Born in Linz, he scored 160 points in his 238 league games. Before his time in Carinthia, Haudum played for Steinbach Black Wings Linz and in Sweden. In the SHL, he was on the ice 63 times for the Malmö Redhawks. The national team player signs a three-year contract with the 99ers and will play with the number 21 on his back.

Lukas Haudum: "I really like the 99ers' plans and it looks like we will hopefully be at the top of the league next season with a very good squad. Of course it's difficult to be successful right from the start with a completely new team, but I think it's in everyone's interest to become a unit as quickly as possible and play at the top."

Innsbruck top scorer Kevin Roy also signs with the 99ers
Kevin Roy, an absolute top forward, has joined the Moser Medical Graz99ers. The fourth-round draft pick from 2012 has an impressive career path. The 30-year-old already has 28 games in the NHL, 301 games in the AHL, games in the Liiga, the SHL and the Champions Hockey League under his belt. In the win2day ICE Hockey League, the left winger played 49 games for HC TIWAG Innsbruck, scoring a strong 60 points. The Canadian has signed for two years in Graz.

Kevin Roy: "After seeing the commitment and the plan of those responsible, I wanted to be a part of this attractive project from the very beginning. I've heard nothing but good things about the city and the fans' support for the team. I think I can contribute to the team's success and I'm looking forward to being a 99ers player. My goal is to be the best version of myself on and off the ice. If I do the right things, my strengths will come out on the ice. I want to focus on helping the team win."

Captain Schiechl remains on board
Michael Schiechl will remain with the Graz99ers. The 35-year-old veteran, who can already look back on 868 league games, is entering his sixth season with the Styrians.
