Bowlby arrives in Bruneck from the Swedish SHL. Over the past two seasons, the 28-year-old played for Rögle BK, helping the team reach the SHL Finals last year. Before his time in Sweden, the left-shot forward collected 75 points in 175 games in the American Hockey League, playing for Syracuse, Charlotte, and Colorado.

His path to professional hockey led through Harvard University, where he combined academics with playing at a high level. Now, Bowlby is ready to take the next step in his career in Europe. He will wear number 28 for HC Pustertal.

“I’m excited for the electrifying atmosphere at Intercable Arena and want to contribute to the team’s success in every possible way,” said Bowlby. HCP Sports Director Kohl Schultz is also confident: “With his physicality and speed, Henry brings exactly what we’re looking for in our playing style. His international experience will be a valuable asset both on and off the ice.”
