Goalie Sam Harvey shone in Klagenfurt with 30 saves and recorded his sixth shutout of the current win2day ICE Hockey League season. The decisive goal was scored by Matt Bradley, who converted the first HCB attempt in the shootout. Head coach Glen Hanlon's team is still unbeaten in games that were not decided in regulation time. The “Foxes” have won three games in overtime and five times decided the shootout in their favor.

HCB is top of Europe
With this result, the South Tyroleans are clearly at the top in comparison with other European leagues, all of which are in the second half of the regular season. Straubing is also unbeaten in games that went into overtime. The DEL representative won all four games that were not decided after 60 minutes. In the Elite Ice Hockey League, Glasgow (two games) and Sheffield (once) are still unbeaten in overtime/shootouts. Even in the NHL, there is no team that is still undefeated in extra time.

Bolzano top, Pustertal with weakest record
Olimpija Ljubljana has the second-best record in the win2day ICE Hockey League. The Slovenians won seven out of nine games that went to overtime. HC Pustertal, on the other hand, only won one of six matches.
