In Tuesday's lone game of the win2day Austrian Women's Hockey League, the KSV Highlanders celebrated a 4:0 derby win over the EC Graz99ers Huskies. While Marie-Camille Theoret scored a brace, goalie Katharina Schellnegger kept a clean sheet. With the shutout, the team from Kapfenberg also took the lead in the AWHL standings.

The KSV Highlanders set the tone right from the start in their first AWHL home game. Marie-Camille Theoret gave them the lead after just three minutes and Kensie Malone increased it to 2:0 shortly before the first break. The preliminary decision was made in the middle period when Sara Confidenti and Theoret made it 4:0. The score remained that way until the final buzzer, with KSV goalie Katharina Schellnegger recording her first shutout of the season. With the derby win, the Highlanders also took the lead in the AWHL standings.
