HK PSRZ Bratislava delivered a strong statement in the lone Friday fixture of the European Women’s Hockey League. The Slovak side edged the league leaders Aisulu Almaty 3–2 on home ice. The hosts got off to the better start and opened the scoring in the first period. After a long stretch without goals, Janka Hlinkova doubled the lead with her second tally of the night. Aisulu Almaty fought their way back and cut the deficit to 2–1 before Simone Bednarik sealed the win.
