"We had a very positive and good hockey forum today, where all available options in the area of sponsorship and television were presented to the clubs. All options were constructively assessed and evaluated by the league owners", reports Christian Feichtinger, Managing Director of Erste Bank Eishockey Liga. Following the meeting, the management was given the task of initiating final negotiations with potential partners.

"Not even 48 hours after we jointly made the difficult but correct decision of the early end of the season, we were already working very intensively on a successful league future. The available options are promising and important building blocks for further developing the product in the coming years," adds President Karl Safron.

"The Austrian hockey family held a very constructive meeting today. We have created a very good basis here for a successful future together. League, clubs and association will continue to be strong partners", reports ÖEHV President Gernot Mittendorfer.
