EC-KAC Future Team - Steinbach Steel Wings Linz 1:2 (0:0,1:1,0:1)
In the duel of the two stragglers of the Alps Hockey League the Steinbach Steel Wings Linz managed a 2-1 success against the EC-KAC Future Team. Already in the first period, the guests from Linz presented themselves clearly more dangerous, but could not yet reward themselves with the lead. In the second period it took less than three minutes before the guests took the lead. The home side now increased the pressure and fought their way back to equalize. Kilian Rappold finally scored the game-winner in the 54th minute. The Linz team was thus able to draw level with Klagenfurt in the standings. However, the Upper Austrians played four games less.
Red Bull Hockey Juniors - Rittner Buam SkyAlps 5:4 OT (2:2,0:1,2:1,1:0)
The Red Bull Hockey Juniors missed the chance to draw level with league leader HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice, but celebrated a hard-fought overtime win against the Rittner Buam. In a balanced first period, Ritten went ahead twice before the Juniors followed suit within 81 seconds. In the second period Ritten had more of the game and rewarded themselves with the lead after 40 minutes. A double strike by Nikolaus Heigl gave the Juniors the advantage in the final period, but Ritten managed to save themselves in overtime, in which Philipp Krening ensured the decision for Salzburg. The loss of points meant that Salzburg slipped from second to third place, but at the same time they were able to reduce the gap to the league leaders to one point.
Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan - EHC Lustenau 1:2 (0:0,1:0,0:2)
The negative trend of Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan continues even after the terminated cooperation with Head Coach Jussi Tupamäki. EHC Lustenau celebrated a 2-1 comeback win thanks to an efficient final third. After a goalless starting third, the Broncos took the lead first. The hosts seemed to have more of the game in the final period as well, but the goals were scored by the visitors. After the equalizer in the 54th minute, Philipp Koczera provided the decision a little more than 100 seconds before the end.
Hockey Unterland Cavaliers - HC Gherdeina valgardena.it 5:1 (1:0,3:0,1:1)
The Hockey Unterland Cavaliers extended their winning streak also against HC Gherdeina. For six games the newcomer of the Alps Hockey League is now already undefeated. Like already the first duel of the season, also the second encounter went clearly to the Cavaliers with 5:1. In the first period, however, Gherdeina still offered paroli. Three goals in the middle period brought the decision. With this success, the Cavaliers moved into second place in the standings and are now only one point behind the league leaders - who, however, played three games less.
S.G. Cortina Hafro - EC Die Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel 6:5 (1:2,2:3,3:0)
S.G. Cortina Hafro and EC Die Adler Kitzbühel delivered the highest-scoring meeting on this matchday. Kitzbühel acted much more efficient in the first 30 minutes and gained - thanks to two goals by Lewis Hook - a 5:2 advantage up to this point. Then, however, the home side ignited the turbo and equalized until the 55th minute. In overtime, Luca Barnabo finally ensured the decision in favor of Cortina.
