Fehervar came to Linz with four wins in a row, but the hosts got off to a good start. Brian Lebler put the Upper Austrians in front, the assist came from Graham Knott, who thus also gained at least one point in the eighth game of the season. In the middle period, Logan Roe first made it 2:0 with a two men advantage, then Knott again played big with scoring between the legs while being shorthanded. Josh Atkinson prevented a Tirronen shutout in the final period, but Romig secured the 4:1 home victory with an empty netter.

Innsbruck turns game against KAC

Innsbruck won against KAC with the same result. The team from Klagenfurt dominated the game at first and deservedly took the lead through Tobias Sablattnig. But the home side managed to equalize through Luis Ludin 27 seconds before the end of the first period. In the middle period, the teams met on equal terms, the "turning point" was the 2:1 by Dario Winkler, who scored in the power play. Seena Peeters also added a power play marker and Gordon Green provided the final goal. With this success, the Tyroleans defended their sixth place in the table.

Misley scores, Fazio gets shutout
In his season debut, Capitals goalie Sebastian Wraneschitz conceded only one goal, but it was enough for Asiago to earn three points. After a scoreless first period, Bryce Misley gave the Italians the lead in the 27th minute. Vienna tried hard and had more of the game, especially in the third period, but the guests did not manage to score. Justin Fazio celebrated his first shutout of the season with 30 saves.
