The EHC Lustenau announces the return of three players for the upcoming season of the Alps Hockey League. Dominic as well as Luca Haberl and Timo Demuth return to their home club. Meanwhile Jürgen Tschernutter leaves the EHC towards his home of choice Zell am See. Casper Evertsson leaves the Red Bull Hockey Juniors and returns to his home country Sweden.  In addition, the Rittner Buam extended the contracts with eight players.

Three homecomer for EHC Lustenau

The EHC Lustenau announces the return of three players for the upcoming season of the Alps Hockey League. Dominic, as well as Lucas Haberl played in recent years for the Bulldogs Dornbirn and the EHC Bregenzerwald. Now the former junior cracks return to the EHC Lustenau. In addition with Timo Demuth another striker returns to Lustenau. The 20-year-old recently played in Switzerland.

In addition to the three commitments, the semi-finalist of the past season also announced three contract extensions. Captain Max Wilfan, Dominik Oberscheider and Jonas Kofler are loyal to the Lustenauer. In the coming weeks further discussions with different players are to be led, so already at the end of May the squad of Lustenau should be complete. 

Tschernutter returns to Zell am See

After two years at EHC Lustenau, Jürgen Tschernutter returns to the EKZ "Die Zeller" Eisbären next season. The native Villacher, who chose Zell am See as his home of choice played for the polar bears from 2012/13 till the end of the season 2016/17 before moving to Lustenau. Tschernutter himself is looking forward to returning to Zell am See: "I am pleased that I am back home again and that I will play for the Pinzgauer again next season. My big goal is to play a good season with Zell am See and reach the playoffs. "

Evertsson leaves Salzburg 

20-year-old Swede Casper Evertsson leaves Red Bull Hockey Juniors after just one season and returns to his home country Sweden. There he joins the third division team Strömsbro IF. In Salzburg, the attacker scored 50 points (22 goals, 28 assists) and was second best scorer of the bulls behind Oliver Nordberg.

Ritten announces eight contract extensions

The Rittner Buam announced further personal decisions for the upcoming season. First, the "Buam" confirmed coach Janne Saavalainen, then they signed goalie Kevin Lindskoug. Now Ritten extended the contracts with defenders Andreas Lutz, Christoph Vigl and Radovan Gabri as well as with the attackers Dan Tudin, Alexander Eisath, Simon Kostner and the two Spinell-brothers Thomas und Markus.
