bet-at-home ICE Hockey League | 15.02.2022 | Schedule:
Tue, 15.02.2022, 7.15 pm: Moser Medical Graz99ers – spusu Vienna Capitals
Referees: OFNER, ZRNIC, Bärnthaler, Gatol. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
In the duel between the Moser Medical Graz99ers and the spusu Vienna Capitals two teams in good form meet: While the Styrians defeated back-2-back Hydro Fehérvár AV19 twice at home recently, the Viennese have always scored in their last five games, winning the last two. The fifth-placed "Caps" showed comeback strength, twice overturning a two-goal deficit against Salzburg and also trailing in the game against Linz. The "99ers" showed good penalty killing against the Hungarians: although they conceded a goal each time they were shorthanded, they survived ten other box plays without losing a goal. For Vienna, which won two of three duels this season - both at home - a total of seven games await in the next 13 days. Vienna and Graz could each celebrate their 20th full win of the season with a victory after regulation time. Lukas Kainz and Joey Martin are questionable for Graz.

Tue, 15.02.2022, 7.15 pm: EC GRAND Immo VSV – HC Pustertal Wölfe
Referees: PIRAGIC, RENCZ, Konc, Muzsik. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
The two hottest teams in the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League will duel in Villach: EC GRAND Immo VSV, which is now in second place, has been unbeaten for eight games and has scored the maximum points in every game since January 30, and hosts HC Pustertal Wölfe, which has climbed up to seventh place with four wins in a row. The South Tyroleans are currently only 0.004 points off the top six and thus a direct playoff qualification. For Villach, the top 6 are within reach, with a win after regulation on Tuesday, the door to direct playoff qualification would be wide open. In addition, the "Adler" would further preserve their chance to attack their longest winning streak since the league's inception: Villach won eleven games in a row between September 28th and November 4th, 2001. So far this season, only Salzburg has managed to win nine consecutive games. For Villach, Alexander Rauchenwald will return to the team after his illness, and the decision on whether Marco Richter will play will be made on match day. Still missing will be Anton Karlsson, Yannic Pilloni and Renars Krastenbergs, who like Emil Kristensen is on duty at the Olympic tournament. In the two previous encounters, the away team has won 3:2.

Tue, 15.02.2022, 7.15 pm: Steinbach Black Wings Linz – HC TESLA Orli Znojmo
Referees: FICHTNER, SIEGEL, Bedynek, Riecken. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
HC TESLA Orli Znojmo is chasing a "season sweep" over Steinbach Black Wings Linz on Tuesday. The Czechs beat the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League's bottom team in all three of their season meetings so far, most recently 3-0 in Linz. That was also Znojmo's lone win in 2022, for Linz one of nine home losses from the last ten games at the Linz AG Eisarena. The Czech’s continue to show the best powerplay in the league (25.6%), while the Upper Austrians are weakening when shorthanded (71.2%).

Tue, 15.02.2022, 7.15 pm: Dornbirn Bulldogs – EC Red Bull Salzburg
Referees: BERNEKER, HOLZER, Martin, Pardatscher. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
EC Red Bull Salzburg has the chance on Tuesday to become the first team to qualify for the bet-at-home ICE Hockey League playoffs. The superior league leader can no longer be ousted from the top six with a point win against Dornbirn. If Matt McIlvane's team fails to score, Vienna and Pustertal may not record a win after regulation. Against the Dornbirn Bulldogs, the Salzburg side, which lost their last two games, have always had a hard time this season: the Vorarlberg team have prevailed twice so far, winning the last comparison at the end of January with 3-2 after a penalty shootout. After that, they suffered three clear defeats. Salzburg will have to do without Lukas Schreier and convalescents Lucas Thaler, Ali Wukovits and Vincent LoVerde. Peter Schneider could be back, but the decision will be made on the day of the game.

Tue, 15.02.2022, 7.15 pm: HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie – HCB Südtirol Alperia
Referees: NIKOLIC M., NIKOLIC K., Nothegger, Seewald. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
HCB Südtirol Alperia returns to action after the Covid-related forced break against HC TIWAG Innsbruck - Die Haie, playing its first game since the 5-2 home win over Graz on February 1st. The "Foxes" are currently still in sixth place in the table, but urgently need points to keep the approaching "Wolves"at a distance. Innsbruck, which won the first of the three duels played so far, recently suffered a serious setback in the fight for the pre-playoffs: the "Haie" were defeated in each of the last four games and need a brilliant finish to make it back into the top 10. Innsbruck's Michael Huntebrinker continues to have an existing scoring streak, recording at least one point in the last twelve consecutive games.

Tue, 15.02.2022, 7.45 pm: HK SZ Olimpija – EC-KAC
Referees: GROZNIK, TRILAR, Hribar, Zgonc. | >> PPV-Livestream <<
Eighth-placed HK SZ Olimpija got another boost in the fight for the top six with a 3-2 road win in Salzburg, celebrating its 20th win of the season. EC-KAC, ranked fourth, on the other hand, suffered a setback, letting a possible win against HC Pustertal slip away in the final frame. It was the first defeat for the Klagenfurt team after three wins in a row. The last two direct encounters were won in superior style by the "Rotjacken", which have to overcome the best penalty killing in the league (86.5%). The Carinthians left all 15 power play occasions unused in the three games against Ljubljana so far. The Klagenfurt team has scored in 17 of 22 road games this season, with 1.636 points per game almost as many as in home games (1.652). Besides Sebastian Dahm (Olympic tournament), Jakob Holzer, Nick Petersen, Thomas Koch, Dennis Sticha and Johannes Bischofberger (all injured), Niklas Würschl and probably Samuel Witting are missing. Thomas Hundertpfund returns to the line-up.
