Thomas Hundertpfund went through all the stages of the junior division at the EC-KAC, making his debut in the first team in November 2006 at the age of just 16. From the 2008/09 season onwards, he was a regular member of the professional team. With the exception of a one-year at Timrå IK, then a Swedish second division club (2013/14), the Klagenfurt-born striker has played consistently for his hometown club. In 769 league games for the KAC so far, the 32-year-old center scored 134 goals and 238 assists.

"Thomas Hundertpfund has now been a permanent fixture in our first team for just under a decade and a half, which in itself is a mark of quality. His last season was certainly not his best for our club, but we all know his many merits and are convinced that he is about to have a good playing year, in which he will once again fully prove his importance for our team. Thomas Hundertpfund is a Klagenfurt veteran and we are glad that he will continue to represent his hometown club," said General Manager Oliver Pilloni.

Thomas Hundertpfund: "I am already very much looking forward to the upcoming season, as we as a group - as well as I personally - feel a great desire for revenge: after a mixed season, we want to show everyone that we are still a force to be reckoned with and that we are one of the best teams in the league. Even though I've been with the team for a few years now, the upcoming season will once again present us with a few new challenges, but with our audience in our new home behind us, we will master them. Currently, we are already sweating in off-ice training to prepare for the new year and to lay the foundation for achieving our high goals, our team is hot for success."
