In addition to Hungary and Italy, France and Poland are also participating in the Four-Nation Tournament, which runs from Friday to Sunday. For Italy, the tournament serves as the final test ahead of the Olympic Games in Milano-Cortina in February. The Azzurri open their campaign on Friday against hosts Hungary, followed by a matchup with Poland on Saturday. They conclude the tournament on Sunday against France. Italy’s roster features 14 win2day ICE Hockey League players from HCB Südtirol Alperia, HC Falkensteiner Pustertal, and Olimpija Ljubljana.

Hungary will face France on Saturday and finish the event on Sunday against Poland. The Hungarian squad also includes 14 ICE players, coming from Hydro Fehérvár AV19 and FTC-Telekom. The team that collects the most points over the three days will ultimately be crowned the winner of the “Tamás Sárközy Memorial Tournament.”
