ICE Fantasy – Game Rules 2026/27

The competition starts with the first ICE game day on September 18, 2026.

Your Fantasy Team
You have a virtual budget of €1,000,000 to build your team. Each ICE player has a defined Fantasy market value.
Your line-up consists of:

• 3 Forwards
• 2 Defensemen
• 1 Goaltender

Team Limit
The maximum number of players from the same ICE team in your line-up depends on the number of ICE games scheduled on that calendar day:

• 1 game: No team limit
• 2 games: Max. 3 players from the same team
• 3 or more games: Max. 2 players from the same team

Line-Up & Fantasy Game Days
Each calendar day with at least one ICE game is a Fantasy Game Day.

You build your team for each Fantasy Game Day. To make things easier, your line-up from the previous game day is automatically carried over.

You can change it at any time before the line-up lock.

For each new Fantasy Game Day, players are bought again at their current Fantasy market value. Player values may be adjusted by the ICE Fantasy editorial team during the season. This means your existing line-up may exceed the €1,000,000 budget after a price change. If this happens, you must adjust your team before the next Fantasy Game Day.

Your line-up must also meet the applicable team limit for each new Fantasy Game Day. Your line-up is locked when the first ICE game of the day starts. After that, no changes can be made for that Fantasy Game Day – including to players whose games start later.

Rankings
ICE Fantasy features several rankings throughout the season:

• Monthly Winners: The most Fantasy points in each calendar month. The first monthly ranking runs from September 18 to September 30, 2026.
• Regular Season Champion: The most Fantasy points throughout the entire Regular Season.
• Playoffs MVP: The most Fantasy points throughout the entire Playoffs, including the Pre-Playoffs.
• Season Champion: The most Fantasy points across the entire season – Regular Season and Playoffs combined.

Tiebreaker
If two or more players finish level on points, the highest score achieved on a single Fantasy Game Day serves as the first tiebreaker. If still tied, the second-highest single-day score is compared, followed by the third-highest score, and so on until the tie is broken. Further information regarding prizes and winners will be announced separately.

Scoring
Fantasy points are based on the official game statistics of the win2day ICE Hockey League and are calculated automatically after each Fantasy Game Day. Any subsequent changes to the official statistics after the Fantasy points have been calculated will not be taken into account.

Forwards

• Even-strength goal: 6 points
• Power-play goal: 5 points
• Shorthanded goal: 10 points
• Hat-trick bonus: 10 points
• Even-strength assist: 4 points
• Power-play assist: 3 points
• Shorthanded assist: 6 points
• Minor penalty: –1 point
• Major penalty: –3 points
• Game misconduct penalty: –5 points
• Team win: 2 points
• Plus rating: 1 point
• Minus rating: –1 point

Defensemen

• Even-strength goal: 8 points
• Power-play goal: 6 points
• Shorthanded goal: 12 points
• Hat-trick bonus: 20 points
• Even-strength assist: 6 points
• Power-play assist: 5 points
• Shorthanded assist: 8 points
• Minor penalty: –1 point
• Major penalty: –3 points
• Game misconduct penalty: –5 points
• Team win: 2 points
• Plus rating: 1 point
• Minus rating: –1 point

Goaltenders

• Goal: 50 points
• Assist: 12 points
• Save: 0.5 points
• Goal against: –2 points
• Shutout: 10 points (only if the goaltender plays the entire game)
• Win: 5 points (only if the goaltender plays more than 50% of the game)
• Minor penalty: –1 point
• Major penalty: –3 points
• Game misconduct penalty: –5 points

Build your team with 3 forwards, 2 defensemen and 1 goaltender, stay within the €1,000,000 budget and follow the team limit for each Fantasy Game Day. Your line-up is locked when the first ICE game of the day starts. From there, it’s all about collecting points and climbing the ICE Fantasy rankings!

Participation & Terms of Use
Participation
Participation in ICE Fantasy is free of charge and voluntary. A registered user account is required to participate. By participating, users accept the applicable Game Rules and these Terms of Use.

Fair Play
Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided during registration and for keeping their login credentials secure. Manipulation, technical interference, multiple registrations intended to gain an unfair advantage, or any other misuse is prohibited. In the event of a violation, the operator may exclude users from the game and from eligibility for prizes.

Availability & Changes
The operator aims to ensure that ICE Fantasy is available without interruption. However, uninterrupted and error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. Technical issues, maintenance, third-party service outages, incorrect data transfers or events beyond the operator’s control may temporarily restrict or prevent access to certain features. The operator reserves the right to adjust Game Rules, rankings or technical processes where necessary for technical, organisational or sporting reasons. Completed rankings will generally remain unaffected.

Statistics & Scoring
The official game data used by ICE Fantasy serves as the basis for calculating Fantasy points. Changes or corrections to official statistics made after Fantasy points have been calculated do not have to be applied retroactively. In the event of obvious technical errors or incorrect point calculations, the operator reserves the right to correct rankings retrospectively.

Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for disadvantages or damages resulting from technical issues, temporary unavailability, incorrect data transfers, third-party service outages or events beyond its control. Statutory liability provisions remain unaffected.

Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Further information about the processing of personal data, users’ rights and relevant contact details can be found in the applicable Privacy Policy.

Final Provisions
The operator reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use where necessary. The latest version published in the app shall apply. The published Game Rules and Prize Terms additionally apply to ICE Fantasy.
