The Fassa Falcons renewed with the captain
Martin Castlunger, born in 1993, will start his tenth year in the 2018/19 season with the formation of Alba di Canazei. The local forward is therefore the first confirmed player for Fassa in the new season 2018/19 season. During the last campaign, Castlunger scored 4 goals and 12 assists in 40 games, providing his usual important contribution to the Falcons. The roster of the finnish coach Teppo Kivela starts again from the experience of Martin Castlunger.
 
Alessandro Re confirmed by Hockey Milano Rossoblu
The rocky defender Alessandro Re has been confirmed by Hockey Milano Rossoblu also in the 2018/19 season. The 32-year-old has played the role of captain of the red/blue team in the last for three seasons and is one of the key points of the Milan defense that will make his debut in the AHL in September. Re has mainly played in Milan during his career.
 
Renè Vallazza returns to the Cortina
After two seasons spent with Hockey Como (IHL), René Vallazza returns home and will play for the Sportivi Ghiaccio Cortina Hafro. The 23-year-old defender will make his debut in the Alps Hockey League.
 
Important reconfirmation for the EC Bregenzerwald
The Austrian team of Bregenzerwald begins to take shape. The forwards Henrik Neubauer, Marcel Wolf, Simeon Schwinger and Philipp Pöschmann and the defender Jürgen Fussenegger will be at the service of the "Walder" also for the 2018/19 season. Neubauer, Schwinger and Pöschmann are also involved in the formation of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga of the Dornbiner EC and will split the season between EBEL and the Alps Hockey League. Last season striker Henrik Neubauer, a Swedish player, collected 8 points in both EBEL (54 games) and AHL (17 games). Philipp Pöschmann has played 40 games in AHL (16 points) and 9 in EBEL. Simeon Schwinger wore the colors of the ECB 36 times (14 points) and 4 games for the Dornbirner EC. 
 
Marcel Wolf, however, will play his sixth season in a row for the ECB and is one of the key players of the team of Vorarlberg. In the last edition of the AHL, the Austrian winger, 27 years old, scored 30 points (11G + 19A) in 31 games. Also, Jürgen Fussenegger will play the sixth season in a row in the defence of the ECB of which he is one of the most important players. During the last season, the 29-year-old has collected 19 points in 38 games.
