Black Wings scored four in the last 20 minutes
EHC LIWEST Black Wings Linz started good and had early chances from Dan DaSilva and Brian Lebler. After some shots from the distance, Rick Schofield finally scored from near the right post. Dornbirn Bulldogs had a quick answer: Scott Timmins scored from a short distance - 1:1. The Upper Austrians started period 2 with speed and quickly got dangerous again, but this time Rick Schofield just hit the post from a sharp angel. The goal scored – per surprise – the guests: Dustin Sylvester intercepted shorthanded a diagonal-pass from Jonathan D'Aversa and finished the solo – 2:1. In period 3 the Black Wings were the chief on the ice and the turned the game around with four goals from Locke, Lebler and Hofer (2x) to get their sixth win in a row.

Innsbruck celebrated comeback-win at Klagenfurt
EC-KAC was the chief on the ice in the first period and managed a quick 3:0-lead in their home-game against HC TWK Innsbruck „Die Haie“: Captain Manuel Geier, Marco Richter and Thomas Koch, who scored his personal goal number 300 in the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga, beat goalie Rene Swette in the first eleven minutes. Swette was replaced by Patrik Nechvatal, who did not allow a higher lead with some good saves. After the re-start David Madlener and Company managed to defend their 3:0-lead, when playing shorthanded for four minutes. But at halftime the guests got more dangerous. Finally in minute 38 Andrew Yogan beat David Madlener above the shoulder. The Tyroleans took the momentum into period 3 and quickly equalized in an intense game with two goals from Hunter Bishop and Ondrej Sedivy – 3:3. The Carinthians stayed unimpressed and answered just moments later with the 4:3: David Fischer beat Patrik Nechvatal through the legs. But the Sharks came back again, they even turned the game with goals from Andrw Yogan (53.) and Ondrej Sedivy (57.). The offensive fire-work at Klagenfurt continued seconds later with the 5:5, scored by Manuel Ganahl (59.). The game went into an Overtime and into Shoot Out, where John Lammers became the Match Winner for Innsbruck. While Innsbruck celebrated their sixth win in a row, Klagenfurt did not manage to fix the Playoffs already.
