For the first time since the opening weekend of the season, HC TIWAG Innsbruck picked up a regulation win, beating EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV 2-1. After an even start, the hosts took the lead in the first period when Steven Owre was left alone in front and scored from close range. Not long after, Benjamin Corbeil doubled the advantage with a sharp-angle finish. Innsbruck remained the more active side in the middle frame, creating several quality chances but repeatedly being denied by VSV netminder Cannata. Toward the end of the second period, Villach gained some momentum but could not find the back of the net. The visitors pressed hard in the final 20 minutes and cut the deficit through Felix Maxa, yet the Sharks defended with determination—surviving even a four-minute penalty kill thanks to a strong performance by goaltender Matt Vernon—to hold on for the narrow win.

After four consecutive losses, the Vienna Capitals returned to the win column against the team from Vorarlberg. Linden Vey opened the scoring on the power play just 95 seconds into the game. The Pioneers responded impressively: Casey Dornbach equalized with a sharp shot to the near post, and shortly after, Eric Florchuk made it 2-1. In the second period, Ramon Schnetzer extended the lead to two, but Vienna fought back. Mitch Hults cut the deficit, and with five minutes remaining in regulation, Jeremy Gregoire scored another power-play goal to force overtime. The game was finally decided in the shootout, where Hults and Vey converted for the Capitals.
